Once your order items have been selected and packed, a personal shopper will initiate the delivery process. Please note that in some cases, the individual who shops for your order may not be the same person who delivers it.
To ensure a smooth delivery experience, we recommend the following:
– Enable notifications for the GroceryList app.
– Stay attentive to text messages and phone calls from the delivery driver.
– Provide helpful instructions regarding parking, gate codes, or any other details that assist in locating your residence.
If the delivery driver encounters difficulty locating your address, they will attempt to reach out to you via text message or phone call before taking further action. Unless you specifically request otherwise, drivers cannot leave an order unattended. Orders containing alcohol must never be left unattended.
In instances where a customer cannot be located or contacted for an extended period, the order may be subject to cancellation.
If you are unavailable to receive the delivery in person, we suggest reaching out to a friend or neighbor to assist you. You can inform the driver of this change by adding a note in the delivery instructions or by sending them a message through the GroceryList app or website. Alternatively, you can request the driver to leave the order in a designated spot.
Please be aware that orders containing alcohol require the identification and signature of an individual aged 21 or older and cannot be left unattended.
If you realize that your order is headed to the incorrect address after placing it, please contact Grocerylist Care for assistance.
Regarding payment matters, all transactions for your GroceryList order and adjustments to the shopper’s tip should be conducted within the GroceryList app. There is no need for external payments such as cash, checks, or third-party apps (Venmo, Zelle, etc.). If you or your shopper encounter payment issues, please seek assistance through the GroceryList app. All payments occur within the app, and you are not obligated to reimburse your shopper for any reason.
